After so much time I have returned to write a summary of my activities. Thank you for reading this and for praying for me, for my family, and for my ministry. You are a great support and encouragement for my personal life, my family relationships, and my ministry. God has blessed me with your friendship and fellowship, my brothers in Christ!
Family. Thanks to God, my wife and my children are in good health. Spiritually, we continue to grow. Several weeks ago we were alone at home and we needed to care for my brother like one would for a young child. My brother, Elmer (40 years old), has Down syndrome and constant epileptic seizures. As a result of one of his seizures, he fell and hurt his forehead. He needed 10 or 12 stitches to close the wound. He was very uncomfortable with the stitches and was getting hurt constantly by his efforts to take them out. Thankfully, though it was a slow process, the wound finally healed. I truly enjoyed watching the manner in which my children cared for their uncle. This difficult experience helped my children to be more responsible and unified. I praise God for this! Seminary. In March I began to teach my classes in the seminary. I am teaching Life of Christ, Synthesis of Doctrine, and World Religions. I am also in charge of Public Relations. In March and April, in order to 
promote the work that we do in the seminary, I visited various churches in Chiclayo, Piura, and Sullana. Truthfully, the love and interest that the believers their have for our work encouraged me greatly. Finally, in May I was occupied in the work of preparing for the missionary trip that the seminary takes 2 times each year. The professors and students all left to visit various churches to evangelize and edify our fellow believers. We visited 24 churches in 24 different cities. God cared for us, used us and brought us back to our places in good health. During our time in the churches there were many professions of faith. I will tell you of one that occurred with our group at Smyrna Baptist Church in Chiclayo. We visited a sick man names Belisario. We read Mark 2:1-12 which tells of the Jesus healing and forgiving the sins of a paralyzed man. After hearing the story, Belisario gave his life to Christ. This happened in the afternoon. Training leaders in Uyurpampa. This city is in the mountain region of Lambayeque, four hours outside of Ferreñafe. The leaders that I trained are bilingual; they speak Spanish and Quechua. The churches were started by Pastor Adrian Payco. I went to this area with his son, Henry. It was the first time that I had visited there. I was impressed by two things: 1) there was a large group of Quechua leaders that were ready to receive more training and 2) the Quecha people of this region still maintain their ancestral customs. The believers that came to receive training came from far away villages. This encouraged me. Their interest in receiving more training was comforting and I came back very excited. With God’s blessing, my coworkers and I will continue to go to Uyurpampa to train our Quechua brothers. Thank you for your prayers on our behalf. (Photo: Quechuas brothers in my training class).
Finally, this is a very special month for me. I was born into this world on June 20. I was born into the kingdom of God on June 29. I began my life as husband to my wife on June 3. The most important events in my life have happened in June. I give thanks to God for His mercy to me. Thank you, my friends and brothers in Christ, for your love. May God bless you.
